Gratuities
It is customary to include a service tip in most restaurants and bars in Florida. A rate of between 10 and 15 percent of your total bill is normally considered to be a rough guide depending obviously on the level of service you receive. There is an additional 6 or 7 percent tax on all merchandise except "necessary" food items purchased in grocery stores. The tax is added to the price marked on the merchandise.
